We set face size, eye position, and margins to Korean passport specs. Skin tone and shadows are refined with 45 years of know-how. And we never add anything that wasn't in your original.

If you've ever dragged a toddler to a photo studio, you know. One photo taken at home, when they're in a good mood, is all it takes.
Don't spend your lunch break at a studio. Snap a photo after work and upload it. Your file usually arrives within 24 hours.
Applications are due, and the studio's closed by the time class ends. Upload at 11 p.m. if you need to.
If a trip to the studio is hard, a family member can take the photo at home. We'll deliver the prints to your door.
Your face shape, features, and expression stay exactly as they are. We refine your original photo; we never reshape it.
Built on 45 years of our studio's retouching work, it gets tone, lighting, and color right.
After data-based retouching, a Jaeil Studio expert gives every photo a final check.
We replace the background with the pure white Korean passports require. Shot it in your living room? No problem.
For 45 years, we've shot nothing but portraits. Jaeil Studio is the Cheongdam studio that business leaders, entertainment agencies, and actors quietly rely on, and Korea's Ministry of SMEs and Startups has designated it a Centennial Store, an honor reserved for small businesses that have served their communities for decades and are built to last a century. Every SALGOO photo is reviewed, refined, and signed off by a Jaeil Studio portrait expert. It's not a photo an app spits out.
Korea doesn't accept passport photos that have been edited, processed, or composited with AI, and ARC and driver's license photos must still clearly identify you. International (ICAO) standards also require passport photos to show what you really look like, with no digital changes to your appearance. SALGOO never creates a new image. We only retouch the original photo you send.
All photo prints fade over time in light. How fast depends on the paper and ink. We use Felix Schoeller photo paper from Germany and genuine inks only. Color management from monitor to printer keeps the skin tones you see on screen true on paper. A ₩9,900 price doesn't mean cheap paper.
Honestly, we won't claim it's identical. A photo taken under professional studio lighting looks different from an everyday snapshot. But we build studio lighting techniques into our retouching, and we keep closing that gap.
₩9,900
If a photo gets rejected, a studio reshoot and new prints cost you another ₩30,000. SALGOO pays up to 10× for eligible rejections.

Yes, and most customers do. Upload one from your phone or take a new one. If the background is messy or the photo is a little tilted, we crop it to spec and swap in a pure white background.
Choose Passport / Driver's license (3.5×4.5 cm), ARC (Alien Registration Card) / Visa (3.5×4.5 cm), or Resume / ID photo (3×4 cm). ARC and passport photos have different face-size rules, so check what the office or organization you're submitting to requires.
Orders usually ship within 24 hours. Most of Korea gets them within two days (Jeju and remote islands may take longer). Shipping is free nationwide.
If the issuing office rejects your photo because it doesn't meet photo specs, you can get up to 10× what you paid. This applies to Passport / Driver's license orders only, and you'll need a written rejection notice and must claim on time. See the conditions below and our full refund policy.
Yes. It covers a high-resolution digital file, six premium prints, and free shipping anywhere in Korea. No card fees, no shipping charges, no retouching fees.
